Quick answer
To analyse a Solana wallet's activity, look at a real, bounded sample of its recent public transactions for actual patterns: transaction frequency, how many different tokens it touches, whether it sends more than it receives, rather than guessing at identity or profit. RektDefender's Degen DNA does exactly this: it reads a recent sample and turns matched patterns into a short behavioural profile, built entirely from evidence.
Try it on a real wallet
Paste any public Solana address into Stalking, then analyse its Degen DNA. No account, and you never connect the wallet you are reading.
Stalk a wallet →What "analysing wallet activity" actually means
Checking a wallet's current holdings, what it owns right now, is one question. Analysing its activity is a different one: reading how a wallet behaves, from the shape of its recent transactions. See How to Track a Solana Wallet for the holdings side. This Guide is about the behavioural side.
A Solana transaction is built from instructions, each one specifying a program, the accounts it touches, and the data it carries. Genuine wallet-activity analysis reads those instructions and the balance changes they produce, and looks for repeated, countable patterns across a real sample. It doesn't guess at motive, and it doesn't need to.
What Degen DNA actually analyses
Degen DNA reads a bounded, recent sample of a wallet's public transactions, up to 50 of them, and normalises each one into balances, transfers, and program interactions. Nothing is fetched until you click the button; there's no background monitoring running before or after.
Below a minimum sample size, trait evaluation isn't even attempted. A thin sample doesn't get a forced pattern, it gets an honest "not enough evidence" result (see below). Every trait shown is capped at a maximum of three per wallet, ranked by how strong the evidence actually is, never padded out to look more impressive.
The trait vocabulary
Every trait label is a joke on top of a fact: the label is funny, the evidence underneath it is exact and countable.
- Terminally On-Chain: a high, sustained rate of successful transactions.
- Bag Blender: a large share of transactions swap one asset for another.
- Shiny Shit Syndrome: touches a large number of distinct tokens relative to its transaction count.
- Catch & Yeet: repeatedly moves a received asset onward again within about an hour.
- Send Button Enthusiast: most of its directional activity is outbound.
- Bag Magnet: most of its directional activity is inbound.
Each trait shown comes with an exact evidence sentence, a real count, over the real sample size, not just the label on its own.
What these traits don't mean
This is the part that matters more than any individual label.
A behaviour pattern isn't an identity. Frequent trading doesn't tell you whether a wallet belongs to a person, a bot, or a script. Activity shape and identity are different questions, and Degen DNA only ever answers the first one.
A pattern isn't profit or skill. Trading often, or moving assets quickly, says nothing about whether those trades made or lost money. Degen DNA counts patterns, never dollar amounts.
A pattern isn't a safety or risk score. Degen DNA doesn't label a wallet as safe, risky, or anything in between. It describes recent behaviour, not a verdict on whether to trust it.
Other wallet-analysis tools sometimes attach exactly these kinds of labels: profitability tiers, "smart" wallet flags, inferred identity clusters, often hedged as an estimate. RektDefender's own forbidden-term list rules every one of them out structurally. Degen DNA can't generate an identity, profit, or safety claim, because the underlying evidence engine simply doesn't compute one.
How to run it
- 1
Find the wallet's address
Your own, or any public address. See How to Track a Solana Wallet if you need a way to find one.
- 2
Open its Stalking page
Paste the address into Stalking and land on that wallet's page.
- 3
Click "Analyse Degen DNA"
A bounded behavioural profile of this wallet's recent public on-chain activity, never a claim about ownership, profit, or lifetime history.
- 4
Read the result
Up to three traits, each with an exact evidence sentence and its sample size restated.
Analysing your own connected wallet works the same way, without needing to paste an address first. Head to Analyse My Wallet in Degen HQ.
"Not Enough Chaos Yet"
A quiet wallet, or one with too little activity in the inspected sample, gets exactly that heading, honestly, rather than a trait invented to fill the space. It means the evidence engine couldn't confidently match a known pattern, not that the wallet is boring, safe, or suspicious. No news is genuinely no news here.
FAQ
How do I analyse a Solana wallet's activity?
Paste its public address into RektDefender's Stalking, then click "Analyse Degen DNA" on that wallet's page. It reads a bounded sample of recent public transactions and turns real patterns into a behavioural profile, no seed phrase, connection, or account needed for someone else's address.
What is Degen DNA?
RektDefender's own tool for turning a wallet's recent public on-chain activity into a short behavioural profile: things like unusually frequent transactions, or a heavy skew toward sending over receiving. It's evidence-based pattern labelling, never a claim about who the wallet belongs to or how it's performed.
Can wallet activity tell you who owns a wallet?
No. Transaction patterns can show behaviour, not identity. Degen DNA never attempts to guess or state who controls a wallet. A pattern of activity is not proof of a person, and RektDefender doesn't present one as if it were.
Can wallet activity analysis tell you if a wallet is profitable?
No, not from activity patterns alone, and Degen DNA doesn't try. Profit requires cost basis and a complete trade history, neither of which a bounded recent sample of transactions provides. Degen DNA counts patterns, never dollar amounts gained or lost.
Does Degen DNA look at a wallet's entire history?
No, a bounded, recent sample only (up to 50 recent transactions), never a wallet's complete lifetime history. Every result is explicitly scoped as recent observed behaviour, not a permanent verdict.
What if a wallet doesn't have enough activity to analyse?
Degen DNA says so honestly, "Not Enough Chaos Yet," rather than forcing a pattern that isn't really there. Below a minimum sample size, or when nothing in the sample cleanly matches a known pattern, no trait is invented to fill the gap.
Can I share my Degen DNA result?
Yes. Once a wallet has at least one trait, a "Post Degen DNA To X" button composes a post with the trait labels and sample size prefilled, linking to that wallet's permanent, shareable Degen DNA page. No image, just text and a link.
Ready to analyse a wallet?
Paste a public Solana address into Stalking, then click Analyse Degen DNA.
